“My name is Ann and I am 50 years old. My menstrual cycle started when I was 13 and stopped the same year. Well, looking back now it does seem a lifetime away but in some odd way it doesn’t. I truly believe that it has actually defined who I am today..37 years later!

I was diagnosed with premature menopause at 16 and have been on HRT for the best part of 30 years. I met my husband and we had 5 IVF egg donation attempts with all of them failing.  That was over 20 years ago.

Devastating.

We decided to go down the adoption route the same year.

Amazing.

The process went efficiently and smoothly.  After being accepted and put on the waiting list we waited 6 weeks – I know!  Our baby boy was 5 months old when we got him.  He’s now 15 years old and 6ft!!

Girls, my message is that everything happens for a reason. I have been on that roller coaster.. I still am as I can connect and relate to almost everything you are all going through. We are all in this together – all of us gorgeous Daisies linked to each other.”
